| Sometimes the app tells me I need to be connected to the Internet, but I already am connected. |
The most likely cause is an intermittent or weak WIFI signal. If an app on the device you are using is not able to reach the server within a short amount of time, it will just display a message that tells you that you need to be connected to the Internet.
Rebooting your device (hold down the power and home buttons until the device shuts off, wait a couple of minutes, then boot it up using the power button on top) may help to resolve the problem. Also, rebooting your WIFI router may be required if the problem is with the router. The cause may not have to do with the device (iPod) nor the router, though... if other devices or computers are connected to the same WIFI and happen to be downloading files or streaming video or audio content (Netflix, etc) this can use up major bandwidth and interfere with downloads to your device. |
